BP Bunge Bioenergia, one of Brazil’s leaders in the ethanol, sugar and bioelectricity markets, won the “Great Place to Work” (GPTW) certification in February, a recognition that highlights organizations committed to excellence in the work environment with a focus on promoting the organizational climate and employee satisfaction.

Created over 40 years ago, the GPTW certification is awarded on the basis of an assessment of people management practices, organizational culture and employee feedback, with the aim of measuring professionals’ perceptions of the company they work for and finding out which are the best employers in the world. In Brazil, GPTW publishes more than 40 rankings every year, awarding the Best Companies to Work For at national, regional, sectoral (such as Agribusiness, IT and Health) and thematic (Best Companies for Women) levels.

By achieving GPTW certification, BP Bunge is advancing towards its goal of becoming a benchmark in people management in the Brazilian market, a commitment that is part of the company’s ESG agenda, established in 2021 to guide its sustainable development until 2030.

“Achieving this certification marks an important milestone in our history and reflects the efforts we continually make to promote a work environment that inspires innovation, collaboration and professional growth. It also reinforces our commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of our employees and to the development of an organizational culture that values and respects each individual,” says Cesar Bresciani, the company’s Human Resources director.
