OUR SUGAR IS PRESENT IN THE DAILY LIVES OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WORLDWIDE
Countries such as China, India, and regions of North Africa, among others, consume our product, which is an important source of energy. We invest in research and technology, have differentiated market intelligence and create partnerships with our customers. This way, we stand out in the production and sale of sugar.
We have the capacity to produce up to 1.8 million tons of sugar, which could sweeten a cake for each of the 7.8 billion inhabitants of planet Earth.
In our portfolio, we have crystal sugar for industrial use and exports, as well as VHP (Very High Polarization) sugar, the most exported type of sugar in the country, as it is a product used as a raw material for refining and applications in the food and beverage industry.
We follow international standards of quality, food safety, and sustainability, which allows our units to be certified. Our operations have historically contributed to maintaining Brazil as the world’s largest sugar producer, responsible for almost half of the global trade.
We have invested in selling raw sugar (VHP) to other countries, which is transformed into by-products in industries around the world.
We work to always improve our processes and optimize logistical operations. We have a value chain with a structure dedicated to sugar logistics – to ensure the quality and the integrity of the product – from the plant to the port.
In exports, for example, 100% of VHP sugar that goes abroad is shipped by rail, from the main railways in the country, which are directly connected to the port of Santos.
We also sell sugar as a raw material for the food and beverage industry.
The largest brands in the country are our customers.
We invest in technology, food safety, and logistical improvements to increasingly enhance our processes, in addition to contributing to the long-term planning of B2B customers.
