Applications for the Trainees Program and the Engineers 2023 Program of BP Bunge Bioenergia, one of the largest sugarcane processors in Brazil, are now open. In its third edition, the objective of the programs, both lasting 12 months, is to stimulate the growth of professionals in the job market.

“The sugar-energy sector is a very dynamic segment in which the search for learning in all possible interactions must be something continuous. It is important that the professional is open to moving to another city and facing challenges, with a focus on business knowledge”, says Andrea Tibana, corporate coordinator for talent attraction at BP Bunge Bioenergia.

Led by the consultancy Across, the Trainees 2023 Program offers opportunities in specialized and corporate positions, including commercial and finance, among others. Graduates between June 2019 and June 2022 can participate in the areas of Administration, Accounting Sciences, Economics, Engineering (Agronomics, Computing, Electrical, Mechanical, Production and Chemical) and Computer Systems, and with intermediate English.

From day one of the program, BP Bunge Bioenergia Trainees are immersed in the company’s business to accelerate their knowledge and participation in what the company does. In addition, the program offers job rotation and, throughout the training, the trainee goes through a development path that involves Tutoring, Mentoring, Assessment and Performance Assessments, and also develops a project to present to the Leadership.

The Engineers Program is dedicated to accelerating the career and making leaders of professionals who have four years or more of proven experience in the sugar-energy sector or in operations of large industries in similar sectors. The journey is aimed at professionals in Production Engineering, Mechanical Production, Agronomy, Agricultural, Food, Chemical, Mechatronics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must be willing to move to the regions where BP Bunge operates.

Those approved will have a development program on important topics for leadership training, such as BP Bunge culture, leading with safety and health at work. They will also be able to learn about the entire value chain of the company, project methodology and have tutoring and mentoring programs.

BP Bunge Bioenergia’s 11 agro-industrial units are located in the municipalities of Edéia and Itumbiara, in Goiás; Frutal, Itapagipe, Ituiutaba and Santa Juliana, in Minas Gerais; Orindiúva, Ouroeste and Pontes Gestal, in São Paulo; Pedro Afonso, in Tocantins; and Ponta Porã, in Mato Grosso do Sul.
